The terminal customer is Toyota. Since the tool structure is complicated with more ribs in cavity side. So in order not to causing cavity sticking, we designed the cavity spring ejectors & leave space in advance for further adding spring ejector blocks. Also since tool core side has more lifters and sliders. In order to keeping the ejection balance, we make round circle on ejector pins to hold the part straightly during ejection. In addition, the part has more strict on assembly dimension, so safety tolerance was left for further EDM to cut steel to avoid welding. The 1st shots are very good & basically meet the customer’s requirement. After the 2nd tryout, the tool was approved by customer.
